Iogha Mental Health provides specialist Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Led care - offering assessment, diagonsis, treatment, and ongoing support tailored to your individual needs.

About Us: Iogha Mental Health

Iogha Mental Health is led by Wendy Iogha, a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care.

Using a Nurse Practitioner-Led model, our approach considers the biological, psychological, and social aspects of wellbeing. Care is evidence-based and tailored to each individual, creating a supportive space for healing and growth.

With a GP referral, patients can access ongoing consultations through Medicare. We are also an approved Revenue NSW sponsor, providing Work and Development Order (WDO) services.

The Role of a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Mental Health Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice nurses who specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.

With Master’s degrees and extensive clinical experience, they provide comprehensive care that may include prescribing medication, offering therapeutic guidance, and developing individualised treatment plans.

Mental Health Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and personalised care.

They are authorised to order diagnostic tests, monitor treatment, and adjust care plans to support recovery and long-term wellbeing, addressing both the medical and therapeutic aspects of mental health.
